“WORDS, JUST WORDS!”
ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS
ANY EVALUATION OF OBAMA’S NOTRE DAME SPEECH HAS TO WEIGH HIS ACTIONS AGAINST HIS WORDS
Here is the heart of Obama’s Commencement Address delivered today, May 17, 2009 at Notre Dame University dealing with the subject of abortion that was the focus of much of the protest against the University awarding him an Doctor of Laws Degree, Honoris Causa.
“As I considered the controversy surrounding my visit here, I was reminded of an encounter I had during my Senate campaign, one that I describe in a book I wrote called "The Audacity of Hope." A few days after I won the Democratic nomination, I received an e-mail from a doctor who told me that while he voted for me in the primary, he had a serious concern that might prevent him from voting for me in the general election. He described himself as a Christian who was strongly pro-life, but that's not what was preventing him from voting for me.
“What bothered the doctor was an entry that my campaign staff had posted on my Web site — an entry that said I would fight "right-wing ideologues who want to take away a woman's right to choose." The doctor said that he had assumed I was a reasonable person, but that if I truly believed that every pro-life individual was simply an ideologue who wanted to inflict suffering on women, then I was not very reasonable. He wrote, "I do not ask at this point that you oppose abortion, only that you speak about this issue in fair-minded words."
“After I read the doctor's letter, I wrote back to him and thanked him. I didn't change my position, but I did tell my staff to change the words on my Web site. And I said a prayer that night that I might extend the same presumption of good faith to others that the doctor had extended to me. Because when we do that — when we open our hearts and our minds to those who may not think like we do or believe what we do — that's when we discover at least the possibility of common ground.
“That's when we begin to say, "Maybe we won't agree on abortion, but we can still agree that this is a heart-wrenching decision for any woman to make, with both moral and spiritual dimensions. So let's work together to reduce the number of women seeking abortions by reducing unintended pregnancies, and making adoption more available, and providing care and support for women who do carry their child to term. Let's honor the conscience of those who disagree with abortion, and draft a sensible conscience clause, and make sure that all of our health care policies are grounded in clear ethics and sound science, as well as respect for the equality of women."
“Understand — I do not suggest that the debate surrounding abortion can or should go away. No matter how much we may want to fudge it — indeed, while we know that the views of most Americans on the subject are complex and even contradictory — the fact is that at some level, the views of the two camps are irreconcilable. Each side will continue to make its case to the public with passion and conviction. But surely we can do so without reducing those with differing views to caricature.
“Open hearts. Open minds. Fair-minded words.”
It is ironic that Obama chose to express the nature of the controversy over abortion as a matter of words. Of course, it is not just a matter of words. No matter how civil, no matter how open the hearts, no matter how open the minds, no matter how fair-minded the words used in any dialogue on the subject of abortion, their significance pales in comparison with the actions that precede, accompany and follow the words.
One of the most memorable phrases Obama delivered so effectively during the 2008 campaign for the presidency was, “words, just words.” He spoke the phrase so effectively that he sensed the impact he was having on his audience and he repreated the phrase many times in the course of the following weeks.
His use of that phrase, “words, just words” in the campaign is what gives rise to the irony of his repetition of the phrase, “fair-minded words” in his Notre Dame speech.
Irony, because his actions as a Senator in Illinois, as a Senator in Washington, and as President give the lie to the sincerity of his words. His actions have revealed him to be the most pro-abortion person it is possible to be short of being an actual abortionist in an abortuary.
As a Senator in the Illinois Legislature he voted against the “Born Alive” bill which provided protection for children that survived a botched abortion or that were the subject of a partial-birth abortion. His vote was tantamount to voting for infanticide.
As a Senator in the United States Senate he continued to vote against such legislative protection for the unborn child.
As President one of his first acts was to rescind the Executive Order of President Bush which put in place the “Mexico City Policy” which forbade the U.S. from supporting abortion in Third World countries.
As President he rescinded the Executive Order of President Bush that prevented tax dollars from being used to provide abortions in military facilities.
As President he rescinded the Executive Order of President Bush that prevented tax dollars from being used for embryonic stem cell research.
As President he appoint the most pro-abortion Governor in the United States, Governor Sebelius of Kansas who had unethical ties to the notorious abortionist, Dr. Tiller, in Kanas, to be the Secretary of Health, Welfare and Human Services.
As President he as appointed other very pro-abortion individuals to his Cabinet and White House Staff.
His rhetorical skill and charming personal delivery of his speech at Notre Dame cannot conceal the reality that he was speaking “words, just words!”
His actions in the past, in the present and in the future
will prove just how empty of true meaning his
words at Notre Dame really were.
Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama
because he is not eligible to be President of the United States
because he is not a Natural Born Citizen
as required by Article Two, Section One, Clause Five
of the United States Constitution.
This is a fact regardless of
where he was born (Mombassa, Hawaii, Chicago, or Mars).
He is not a Natural Born Citizen
because he was not born of
BOTH OF WHOM WERE UNITED STATES CITIZENS
at the time of his birth.
His father was a subject/ciitizen
of Kenya/Great Britain at the time of his birth and afterwards.
His mother was too young to pass on her US citizenship
according to the law in effect when he was born.
Check it out:
His usurpation cannot be corrected by Congress,
it can only be corrected by his resignation, his removal
by an amendment to the Constitution
which will never happen.

WASHINGTON D.C., April 1, 2009: In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama's qualifications for the presidency, the group "Americans for Freedom of Information" has released copies of President Obama's college transcripts from Occidental College. Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama's detractors have been seeking.
The news has created a firestorm at the White House as the release casts increasing doubt about Obama's legitimacy and qualification to serve as president. When reached for comment in London, where he has been in meetings with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Obama smiled but refused comment on the issue. Meanwhile, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs scoffed at the report stating that this was obviously another attempt by a right-wing conservative group to discredit the president and undermine the administration's efforts to move the country in a new direction.
Britain's Daily Mail has also carried the story in a front-page article titled, "Obama Eligibility Questioned", leading some to speculate that the story may overshadow economic issues on Obama's first official visit to the U.K.
In a related matter, under growing pressure from several groups, Justice Antonin Scalia announced that the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama's legal eligibility to serve as President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey. This lawsuit claims Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. Donofrio's case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of Obama's citizenship or qualification to serve as president.
Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation of Obama's campaign spending. This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records. Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still ongoing but that the final report will be provided to the U.S. attorney general, Eric Holder. Mr. Holder has refused to comment on the matter.
According to Associated Press story shown below, Obama's tramscripts from Occidential College show that he was an undergradraduate at the school under the name Barry Soetoro, and received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia. I did a search using "Smoking gun finally found."
Here are a few of the websites that came up. None said it was false.
